The article reveals the reasons and prerequisites of 1905 Additional Petition by Taurian mufti A. Karashaysky on behalf Muslims Crimean Peninsula that was addressed to Chairman Minsters’ Committee where he wrote about expansion Mohammedan Spiritual Board’s competence necessity increasing status Islamic institutes. Providing comparative analysis between Public from Tatars author allocates general specifi c matters their contents. Thus, research paper concludes Petition, via values liberal social movement, mostly declared social, religious spiritual needs Tatars, while petition prepared group clergy under leadership had strictly corporate, confessional orientation.
